40 Year to Finding Me is a performing arts piece that comes to life through a series of monologues intertwined with poetry and song. The piece is based on a true story and explores childhood trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, chronic illness, mental health, and the devastation that undiagnosed Complex PTSD has on one’s life throughout adulthood. It is a story about heartache, loss, and grief, and it’s also a story about love, resilience, tenacity, perseverance, and the power of the human spirit to rise up out of the ashes to live again.
**Due to the sensitivity and nature of the content, parental guidance is suggested for teens and children under 17 years of age.
