for my friends, family, strangers and …

I have a life, a desire to live
to be of service, to quietly give
to stand alone, to know within
to be with you, to hold your hand

I have a life, a desire to live
to feel the sun, on my ivory skin
to walk in purpose, to face truth head on
to understand it’s, not right vs. wrong

I have a life, a desire to live
to express without judgment from my own demons
to let you see, I’ll be your best friend
to take a risk, to let vulnerability in

I have a life, a desire to live
to know unbridled freedom, to always forgive
to love unconditionally, in every moment
to know my heart’s open, even through torment

This is my life. This is my land.
My desires manifest, from intention
Ask me now, and I’ll open the door
I’ll explore with you, for my land is (also) yours.
