It’s interesting to witness how we interact as beings that so want to be loved and cared for, and at the same time, we hide and lie about who we are. To truly be seen is so rare that when it happens, it can feel scary and vulnerable, for it is the rare few that can see past our facades and pretenses that are acted out based on who we think we “should” be vs. who we truly are. Yet, it is to be truly seen, and with that, to be unconditionally accepted for who and where we are, that we crave from those around us.
When we can be present in each moment to all we are and where we are, and do the same for others, what a beautiful practice it is to witness. A good place to begin this practice is with the one we see looking back at us in the mirror.
It’s from these thoughts that the following words flowed…
Here’s to being seen as all that we are.
Much Love–
Me
ALL I AM
When I show you all that I AM,
Will you be able to take my hand?
If I speak of what I see,
Will you be willing to believe?
When I love you unconditionally,
Will you accept my love fully?
When I accept you for where you’re at,
Will you accept it as a fact?
My life is filled with choices, not chance.
This I share from where I’m at.
These questions flow without walls.
There is no agenda to stand or fall.
Will you be present to all you are;
When I stand with an open heart?
Will you speak of what you see;
When I stand with you completely?
Will you love me unconditionally;
If I fall down accidentally?
Will you accept me for where I’m at;
The good, the tough, and all of that?
This I share from where I’m at.
My life is filled with choices, not chance.
There is no agenda to stand or fall.
These questions flow without walls.
I AM present to all you are;
Today, tomorrow, near or far.
I stand before you in all I AM.
And my hand is here for you, my friend.
